Seminar #1 - Promotions That Work - Presented by Pete Madland, TLW Executive Director
Is business slow? Are you getting “stale”? Every business could use a little shot in the arm now and then and this seminar could provide just that.
Pete will discuss proven promotions that he used during his 20+ years in business.
He will also interact with the audience to find out what promotions they have used to help boost sales.
Pete will not be talking about Facebook, websites or other “modern” methods to promote. Instead, he will talk about practical, hands on promotions that anyone can implement at their places of business, no matter how large or small that business may be.
Pete’s program has been presented at previous Tavern League conferences as well as other state and national conventions.
You are guaranteed to walk away with at least one promotional idea to help improve sales. This is a fun seminar that passes quickly.
Come and pick up some new promotional ideas and share yours.
Seminar #2 - Basics of Estate Planning - Presented by Peter E Grosskopf
Estate planning should be a part of any business plan. Attorney Peter Grosskopf will lead a discussion on estate planning for small business owners. Topics such as limiting personal liability and how to transition your business to the next generation will be discussed. What is probate? What happens if you become disabled, place in a nursing home or even die? These are unpleasant thoughts but they must be dealt with. Mr. Grosskopf will help.
Peter E Grosskopf is a 1979 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and is currently a solo practitioner in Eau Claire, at the firm of Grosskopf Law Office, LLC.
He has more than 30 years of experience in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate and Trust Administration. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and Past-Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Wisconsin State Bar, and currently chairs that Section’s Legislative Committee. He is also a member of WI-NAELA, and currently on its board, as Chair-elect.
He is past President of the Eau Claire County Bar Association. He has served on its Executive Committee.
